Piece I did for a Dirty Jobs drawing contest several years ago… Based on American Gothic… Pattern on the dress is identical to the one in the painting, which I am proud of :) Still love the look on the pig’s face! Tee hee…
This pieced together scan of my Loki drawing has many details that I changed or took out. Also, the serpent coils were all copied and pasted from one (the lower right)…
Yeah, I’m a Loki fan, lol…. I did the drawing on Strathmore Series 400 paper using light blue colerase pencils and colored it in an old version of Photoshop (I’m too embarrasssed to say which one :/ )… The design was inspired by the work of Alphonse Mucha, one of my top ten favorite artists, although I don’t think this piece is at all a good representation of the art nouveau style….
